Strn Quickstart:
An introduction for people who don't like reading documentation.

This document is a very minimal introduction to most of the
new features of strn.

General:
o Use the arrow keys to move around.
o Typing 'q' will almost always exit what you are currently doing.
o Type 'h' (almost) anywhere to get help on the current commands.
o Type 'H' (almost) anywhere to enter the help scan mode,
where you can read the strn documentation.

Group scan mode:
* Start strn, then type the ':' key. You will enter "group scan mode".
o Type SPACE to enter a newsgroup or another level.
o Type 'q' to leave any level of group scan mode.
o Typing 'q' at the top level of group scan mode will exit strn.

Article scan mode:
* Enter a newsgroup. Type the ';' key.
o Use arrow keys to move around.
o Type SPACE to read an article.
o While reading an article, type the ';' key to go back to article scan.

Configuration menus:
* From either the old newsgroup selector or group scan mode, type 'e'.
o Type the number of the choice you want.
o Type '0' to go back to the previous menu (or exit the menus).
o The settings will take effect immediately, and will be saved for
the next time you run strn.

Scoring:
* At the end of an article ("End of article"... prompt),
type the single-quote character ('), then hit the RETURN key.
This will bring you to the scoring menu.
o Typing '1' ("Add something to a scorefile."), then '3', then
'1' will let you add something to a scorefile for the current
      newsgroup.
	* After typing the above sequence, strn will ask
"Enter a score amount (like 10 or -6):". Type a number
of points that you want to use for the current rule.
	* The next menu allows you to add the points you selected in
the last question to either the author or subject of the
	  current article.
o After adding a scoring rule, go to the scoring menu (see above),
then type '2' to re-score the articles in the current newsgroup.
o To explain an article's score, type '3' at the scoring menu.
o While reading a newsgroup, type Control-E to edit the current
      newsgroup's scoring file.

Virtual Newsgroups: Hotlist
* At the end of an article, type 'V', then the RETURN key.
This will bring you to the virtual menu.
o Type '1' to add the current article to the hotlist.
	* After you type '1', strn will ask for a "virtual" subject.
This subject will be displayed instead of the article's actual
subject. If you want to use the article's current subject,
	  just type RETURN.
o Methods for reading the Hotlist:
	1. Enter group scan mode, and select the "Personal Hotlist" entry.
	2. Go to the virtual menu (see above), and type '!' to enter
the hotlist. (This method will leave the current newsgroup.)
o When you read an article from the hotlist, you are actually
entering the newsgroup and reading the article. You can follow
article threads, enter the newsgroup selector, or do scoring
      comands in the same way
o While reading an article from the hotlist, type 'q' to go back to
      the hotlist.
o Type 'q' from the hotlist to exit the hotlist.
